Our team is growing, and we’re excited to introduce our new Media Supervisor, Megan Buchite! Megan comes to KC Truth with both agency and in-house marketing experience and most recently was a Digital Media Specialist for an e-commerce retail company. Megan has worked in a wide variety of client verticals ranging from auto shops to beauty brands and loves being in a field that allows her to continually learn about new industries, business and topics.

Megan comes to us with experience in campaign ideation, media planning, and implementation across various channels including CTV, paid search, organic social, paid social, programmatic display, event marketing, video and native media. She loves using a variety of channels in a campaign, while continually analyzing results and trends to optimize performance resulting in real brand impact.

When Megan isn’t dreaming up strategy and implementation planning, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, her cats Neville and Norman, and her pup, Louie. You can often catch them at the dog park, on an off-leash hiking trail, or relaxing at one of the many dog-friendly breweries in the Twin Cities. When she’s not on the go she can most often be found snuggled with Lou on the couch reading a new thriller or watching the latest viral show on Netflix.

We’re thrilled to introduce you to the latest addition to our expanding client service team, Account Director, Randy Cunningham. Randy is a proven thinker and doer who brings infectious energy to his work, using his natural optimism and curiosity to build strong relationships with clients and become an expert in their businesses. With professional experience in advertising, activation and retail marketing, he is deeply rooted in pushing brands forward with unique and flawlessly executed brand experiences.

Highlights from Randy’s career include the opening of a new flagship store for Cox Communications, one of the country’s largest Telecom companies, as well as the launch of an award-winning statewide safe voting campaign for the Minnesota Secretary of State’s office during the COVID-19 pandemic. Randy has also worked across categories to tell stories for a wide variety of respected brands including UnitedHealth Group, Great Clips, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, CH Robinson, OneAmerica, Bellisio Foods and Subway Restaurants.

Randy received BAs in journalism/strategic communications and political science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Outside of work, Randy is a sports nut — the more obscure the better. He is team captain to one of Minneapolis’ finest rec broomball teams and also throws lead for his local Feather Bowling team.

Our growing media team is excited to welcome Alec Cuthbert as our newest Media Planner.

Alec comes to KC Truth with substantial cred, having worked at FRWD@Bain where he learned everything he knows from our own Sr. Media Planner Anne Raymond and Media Director Alex Cullen. Throughout his early advertising and media career, Alec has earned deep experience planning and executing media across a wide variety of channels including OOH, CTV, paid search, paid social, organic social, programmatic display, video and native media. And while, he’s done his fair share of graphic design, working on branding, logos, and ad design, Alec enjoys working on paid search and programmatic the most.

Most recently Alec worked at UNRL, an athleisure clothing company based out of St. Paul, as a Marketing Coordinator where he got a taste of client-side design, marketing and branding. This experience gave him insight into how clients function and how agencies and clients can work better with one another to achieve results. His work at FRWD@Bain involved analyzing data, uncovering insights and executing on them to make small, daily moves that brought long-term success to the client. Much of his time was also spent as the point of contact with client teams where he managed day-to-day ad hoc requests as well as delivered on reporting cadences.

Outside of work, you can find Alec spending time with his partner Katie and their dog (quite the little troublemaker) Nash. You’ll frequently find them exploring a new dog walking path or park, hitting the soccer field together, or enjoying a nice Apothic red wine while watching the newest reality TV show. Alec played soccer in college and still plays to this day, though he’s retired from anything other than “beer leagues.”

We have an exciting new addition to our growing Strategy Team at KC Truth. Say hello to Bret Herzog. Bret joins us in the newly created role of Director of Insights and Engagement where he’ll help our clients build deeper human connections with customers across the journey by illuminating truths that enable more profound, holistic engagement plans.

Not only does Bret have a gift for herding cats (literally-he’s got two at home), he also has a strategic mind that can make sense of the insights, trends, and shifting cultural landscape without forgetting that—despite all the numbers—we’re talking to real people with real emotion. Thanks to his considerable experience with Fortune 500 brands at agencies like Periscope and Colle+McVoy, Bret joins us with an arsenal of tools and tricks of the trade to help the strategy be smarter, the media more impactful, and the creative bolder.

We’re truly excited for the value Bret can bring to all our clients’ businesses.

Our growing media team welcomes Nina as our newest Media Coordinator!

Before joining KC Truth, Nina was a Digital Media Assistant at 10 Missions Media where she honed many of the skills required in the modern media landscape. She set-up and deployed ad campaigns through Google Ad Manager, built out custom client emails using HTML5 and CSS, and analyzed web performance via Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Prior to this, Nina graduated from the University of St. Thomas as part of the resilient class of 2020 with a bachelors degree in Marketing Management.

As a media coordinator at KC, Nina will support the media and billing departments by managing insertion orders and proofing media plans, contracts and accounting records. Nina is excited to see the other side of media and learn more about everything that goes into planning and implementing all of our different marketing campaigns.

In her free time she enjoy trips to the many state and national parks around the area, finding the best coffee and  food throughout the Twin Cities, listening to and watching all things true crime. She also enjoys shopping at craft fairs, and spending time with friends and family whenever possible.

We’re excited to announce Hailey Corcoran as the newest addition to our team of truth-seekers! Hailey will be joining us to help support the McNeilus, Ecolab, Entrust and Plasti Dip businesses as an Account Manager.

Prior to KC Truth, Hailey was with local agency Periscope where she worked predominantly in owned brand packaging development for OTC and CPG clients such as Walgreens and Bernatello’s Foods. Familiar with quick timelines and high regulation industries, she’s armed with a fondness for problem solving and an ability to navigate the varied priorities of her clients’ numerous stakeholders.

At KC, Hailey is excited to continue expanding her knowledge across a variety of advertising mediums. She’s particularly interested in how targeted media can help drive brand recognition and sales for clients.

Outside of the office, Hailey can be found sidewalk shopping aspirational real estate in South Minneapolis, brewery hopping with friends or attempting to replicate the latest Half Baked Harvest recipe.

We can’t wait to introduce Hailey to our clients and hopefully taste test some of these recipes!

We are so excited to introduce you to our new Media Coordinator, Isabella Herman!

Isabella recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Entrepreneurial Management and minors in Spanish and Sustainability. She has held marketing internships at National Grid Renewables and Contain Inc. where she worked on creative and PR.

As a media coordinator at KC, Isabella will be supporting the media and billing departments by managing insertion orders and proofing media plans, contracts and accounting records.  Isabella is excited to learn all there is to know about media and get a well-rounded view of agency-life here at KC.

In her free time, you can find Isabella in a dance studio, looking for new music, or creating plant-based recipes. She enjoys taking long walks through her neighborhood, going to drag shows, and binge watching terrible reality TV with her roommates/best friends.

We are so excited to introduce you to our new Senior Media Planner, Anne Raymond!  Anne is joining KC from the digital marketing agency, FRWD@Bain. Throughout her 4+ years there, Anne has worked as a media planner for more traditional agency clients covering primarily CPG and Restaurant verticals. She has experience in media planning across various channels including OOH, CTV, paid search, paid social, organic social, programmatic display, video and native media. Despite her cross-channel experience, Anne finds programmatic media her true “bread and butter”. She is interested in the variety of formats and targeting capabilities that programmatic display and video platforms offer.

Most recently at FRWD@Bain, Anne has worked as a digital media consultant for a variety of Fortune 500 clients spanning large furniture retailers, insurance companies, etc. This work involved analyzing historical traditional and digital media performance to find areas of optimization and create test plans for messaging strategy, cross-channel funnel strategy, in-platform campaign performance and measurement capabilities.

When Anne isn’t deep in spreadsheets, she enjoys living the downtown life in Minneapolis with her fiancé, Jeff, and her cockapoo, Sophie. You’ll frequently find them exploring the local dog parks, venturing across the Stone Arch Bridge or hitting the Mill City Farmers Market on the weekends.  She also spends a lot of her time in the suburbs with her identical twin sister Sarah. When she’s not hanging out with friends and family, she enjoys doing yoga or riding her Peloton, reading mystery/thriller books and listening to crime podcasts.

We have a new Finance and Operations Specialist who’s work history is as dynamic as she is!  Anna spent the past 20 years managing boarding kennels for pets, teaching preschool, earning a Bachelor’s in Business Management in her 30’s while raising a family, office management for her husband’s custom millwork company, and most recently dialing in to billing, finance, and operations at two highway heavy road construction companies in Mankato.

Anna is looking forward to working in a creative industry, since her secret passion has always been art.  In fact, she even has a little side-hustle as a henna artist!  She hopes to help the team and our clients maintain consistent and accurate finances and looks forward to digging into the details of processes and collaborating on ways to improve them.

When she’s not counting beans (we promise we gave her a calculator) Anna enjoys escaping to her home in the middle of nowhere with her daughter, their dog Artemis and FOUR cats where they garden (lazily) and play in the woods.  In the “before times” Anna enjoyed hitting up any live music she could find.  Anna told us, “I’m also looking forward to continuing to travel the country for short stays in whatever city my husband happens to be working in!”
