When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we were immediately struck by the dedication of everyday heroes like sanitation workers who continued to put themselves in harms way to do the essential — often under appreciated — work necessary to keep our communities going.
So together with our clients at McNeilus, one of the largest manufacturers of refuse vehicles in the U.S., we created a social and paid media campaign to show our appreciation and support of these #WasteWarriors and to ask others in our communities to join us in doing the same.
The agency poured itself into the project. Literally. One of the videos we created stars the kids of many KC employees. Everyone felt the urgency of getting this important message out, so the agency turned around all campaign assets including videos and photos within a week. We even created swag that people could gift to their local sanitary workers.
We’re incredibly proud to have played a role in bringing the campaign to life. Thank you to McNeilus and to everyone who went into action to thank these heroes. But mostly, thank you #WasteWarriors!
